Are you a London-based artist?See your work on show outside O2 Academy Brixton

We’re looking for an artist to create digital artwork that’ll be displayed across five hoarding panels outside the iconic O2 Academy Brixton – seen by thousands of gig-goers, locals and passers-by every week.

O2 Academy Brixton has always been more than a music venue, it’s part of Brixton’s cultural fabric, shaped by local voices and creativity. Brixton is also famous for its murals and street art – there’s even one on the back of the venue itself – and so we want to continue that tradition in a fresh modern way through printed digital artwork and giving a local London-based artist the opportunity to be involved in this creative project.

As an O2 venue, we’re proud to invest back into the communities around us and support new talent.

What’s in it for you?
The winning artist will get £3,000 for their design, plus a year’s worth of O2 Academy venue tickets (a pair of tickets per month). Your artwork will receive massive exposure – being displayed outside the venue for an anticipated period of at least a year and appearing across O2 and O2 Academy Brixton’s social channels.
